Wish Happy Birthday to your friends with the help of the new Google Contacts feature
Google Contacts, the primary contact management tool on Android handsets, now sends birthday reminders to users.
Congratulations on your birthday,… You’d say you should have wished completely or else you’d have written someone’s name. Actually, Google will wish us Happy Birthday instead of us. But not you, your phone contacts. This is a new feature that Google has added to its contact app. The new feature will not only ring the birthday notification bell but will also provide information about upcoming birthdays. Technical Dost will inform you how it will all play out.

New Google Contacts feature
On stock Android smartphones, the Google Contacts app serves as the phonebook. Not only that, but many other smartphone manufacturers have integrated this app into their user interface. The primary reason for this is the availability of timely updates and new features. Google has recently added another such feature. Users will now be notified of their contacts’ birthdays. The tech behemoth first teased the public with this feature in March of this year.
The birthday details will be displayed in the app’s For You section. If there are multiple birthdays on the same day, the card view will be displayed instead of the notification. This feature, however, will not operate automatically. You must enter that person’s birth date in the contact details to accomplish this. The Add Birthdays section can be found in the Contact app. If you have the Contacts app synced with Gmail and Google Calendar, the birthday notification bell will also ring there.
In addition, a lovely cake icon will appear next to the contact of the person whose birthday it is. The new feature is now available in the Contacts app version 4.7.26.x. You can get the most recent version of the app by going to the Play Store. However, according to the company, the feature will not be available to everyone right away. By the way, if you’re like me and frequently forget your loved ones’ birthdays, take advantage of the new feature right away.
