Instagram Algorithm Exposed
If you are a Content Creator and want to share your original content on Instagram Reel, this is the place to be. Then Technical Dost has some bad news for you. I’d like to expose the Instagram algorithm that makes it difficult for original content creators to grow.
I’ve posted a few Reels on Instagram and they’ve received around 20k views, which is fine. However, some channels are using the voice of my reel in their reels, and they have nearly 5 million views, which sounds ridiculous as an original content creator. Does Instagram’s Executive not see anything? Is Instagram working on a snatching protocol in which the death of wisdom is at the hands of cretins?
To Instagram, Technical Dost would like to say that I wrote this content by waking up all night and that my efforts have been in vain.
If you are not promoting my reel and you think my content is not worth watching, then don’t promote it. But at the same time, at least don’t promote this copied version of these reels as well. I’m not getting views, which is fine, but it hurts to see your content on someone else’s page with many more views than yours.
I tried to contact Instagram’s customer support, but they have nothing to say about this subject. Instagram gave people with 10k followers a blue tick, but they still haven’t given me a blue tick on Instagram, despite the fact that I have 86.6K followers on Instagram and over 2M subscribers on YouTube. I’ve been requesting it for decades. It’s fine if I’m not well-known, but you should Google my name; people are watching me and enjoying my content. And it’s fine, at least with the blue tick. But, at the very least, do not promote the copied version of my content.
Instagram is promoting people who are casually dancing and lip-syncing to songs. However, it is disappointing that the original content creator who is behind the original content is not promoted. I hope Instagram can change its algorithm so that we original content creators continue to use it.
