POCO C55: A budget smartphone launched in India
After the Poco C50, the Poco C55 is the second C-series Poco phone to be released in India this year. In January, the company unveiled the POCO C50, a smartphone with basic features. The C55 is a more powerful device than the C50 because it has a better onboard chipset. The device has a large aspect ratio screen with a waterdrop notch on the front, and the back panel has a beautiful stitch design that looks like leather. Poco C55: Specs and Features
The back of the Poco C55 has a leather-like texture and a large camera island that houses both the vertical camera bump and the fingerprint scanner. Two 50MP rear cameras are integrated into the camera hump. Forest green, power black, and cool blue are the available colors.
The front-facing camera has a resolution of 5 megapixels and is housed in the waterdrop notch, which sits in the middle of the 6.71-inch HD+ display and has a touch sampling rate of 120Hz. However, the refresh rate is not particularly fast. The screen is also treated with an oleophobic and scratch-resistant coating.
You will be given a number of camera options, including HDR, portrait mode, and night mode. The system-on-chip (SoC) is an octa-core Helio G85 with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage capacity. The new Poco phone comes with up to 5 GB of expandable Turbo RAM and 1 TB of expandable storage.
Its power is supplied by a 5,000 mAh battery that can be charged at a rate of 10 watts. Of course, it won’t be as fast as the current fast-charging numbers suggest, but it should be sufficient. Unfortunately, the Poco C55 runs MIUI 13, which is based on Android 12, which is not ideal! The device is IP52 rated, has a 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C connectivity.

The POCO C55 is available in the following colors: Forest Green, Cool Blue, and Power Black. The POCO C55 is available in two memory and storage configurations: 4GB + 64GB for 9,499 rupees and 6GB + 128GB for 10,999 rupees. It will be available on Flipkart beginning on February 28th.
