Most people think of smartwatches as fitness devices or a method to carefully monitor notifications. But did you know that your smartwatch may also be used as a camera remote? Third-Party Camera Remote Apps
If you have a Garmin, Fitbit, or another non-Samsung Wear OS watch that hasn’t been linked with a Pixel phone, you’ll need to download third-party software to access this feature.
Third-party apps, on the other hand, are hit or miss. Because the manufacturer does not code these apps, they may break after the upgrade, and whatever software update the manufacturer performs, consider it. Various Android phones may also have different power-saving settings, which might have an impact on how well the app performs.
Keep in mind that because these aren’t native apps, you may need to take some extra steps to install and utilize them.
